Planning staff described the proposal: outdoor storage of construction materials (conduit, spools, vaults) in a rear yard behind an 8-foot fence, daytime operations from 7 AM–5 PM, about three semi deliveries per week, and an occupancy bond to secure completion of improvements. "They would like to store construction material like fiber conduit wheels, spools, vaults, and materials for installing handles," the planning presenter said. Staff also noted Clearwave temporarily moved materials off-site after staff contact and that the ordinance draft includes temporary CO language and bond requirements.
Trustee Brockman moved to approve the conditional use and waive second reading; trustees approved. Staff will monitor compliance with the April 1 fence and June 1 pavement deadlines and may enforce the bond if conditions are not met.
