Board accepts resignations, approves coaches, summer hours and summer assignments
Summary
The board accepted resignations (including Math Teacher Sara Snarr), approved substitute rates, fall coaching rosters, volunteers, and numerous summer-hour assignments for transportation, curriculum writing, strategic planning and CSE work. All personnel motions passed 6–0.
The Byron-Bergen board accepted personnel changes at the July 9 reorganizational meeting. Resignations accepted included School Monitor BobbiSue Butler (effective 6/20/25) and Math Teacher Sara Snarr (effective 6/30/25). The board approved the 2025–26 substitute teacher rate and ratified the fall coaching assignments across boys and girls soccer, volleyball, cross-country and modified sports, and accepted designated volunteers.
The board also approved a long list of summer-hour assignments covering Transportation, Strategic Plan work, CSE meetings and Curriculum Writing; trustees approved substitutes and summer assignments for dozens of staff and community members. Motions to accept resignations and approve summer hours and coaches passed unanimously (6 Yes, 0 No). There were no audience comments recorded on personnel items.
