Board adopts 'best value' purchasing policy, authorizes participation in multiple cooperatives

The board also authorized participation in a set of cooperative purchasing agreements — including BuyBoard, Choice Partners, Educational Data Services Inc., OMNIA Partners, Sourcewell, and others — and granted the Business Administrator or Purchasing Agent authority to register on behalf of the district. The board recorded the motion and passed the resolution by unanimous vote. Trustees discussed the rationale as providing flexibility and potential savings when purchasing goods and services.
