Director Sam Walters reported building and safety updates to the trustees on Aug. 3. He said the Friends of the Library purchased four industrial-strength air filters for use during forest fire season and that the library now has a cabinet containing an AED, a "stop the bleed" kit and two doses of Narcan.
Walters told trustees that library staff will receive CPR and AED training when an instructor becomes available. The minutes note that bird waste on the 4th St. porch remains an ongoing maintenance issue.
