Clauson said the district will use 180.5 days to determine per diem rates beginning this school year and that teachers who had salary deductions this year will be retroactively reimbursed. The administration is working with the SEA (Skokie Education Association) to align salary calculations for future years; salaries for this year will remain unchanged for those on extended calendars while the district resolves the reporting practice.
