He emphasized this is not an extra charge on the original contract: the contract completion amount remains unchanged and the action is intended to maximize MFT use and free capital funds for flexibility.
A trustee asked whether the $996,382 figure was the MFT allocation; staff confirmed the total contract amount was $1,410,000 and the MFT portion was separate. The resolution passed by roll call with unanimous approval.
