Loyalton Council discusses stop signs, crosswalks and City Hall roof repair; stop-sign purchase moved to next agenda

Councilmember S. Mcllravy told the council she obtained an estimate of $45 per stop sign and proposed buying 30-inch signs in response to a letter from J. Adcock that also requested a crosswalk be painted by the high school. After discussion, council moved the item to the next agenda for further consideration.
Separately, Councilmember J. Dines said he is preparing a scope of work for the City Hall roof repair so the city can go out to bid. Council also noted the Prop 68 change-of-scope submission is pending a response from the grantor, and that the city decided not to pursue a door-widening grant for the Fire Department after research.
