Loyalton council forms ad-hoc ordinance committee, moves TOT ballot discussion and approves business license

The council formed an ad-hoc committee to review ordinances, deferred Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) ballot consideration to a future meeting, approved a business license for 'Han Alber - Mountain Dooty' and noted inspection paperwork for the Musica Sierra Solar project.
During its July 15 meeting the Loyalton City Council created an ad-hoc committee to review city ordinances, moved a discussion about placing TOT taxes on the ballot to the next agenda, and approved a business license for 'Han Alber - Mountain Dooty.'
Mayor Markum also reported receipt of paperwork and that he is awaiting inspection for the Musica Sierra Solar project. The council approved the ad-hoc committee on a motion by S. Mcllravy and seconded by J. Dines, and deferred the TOT ballot item for further consideration at an upcoming meeting.
