The Henderson County Commissioners Court approved the county’s employee wellness incentive plan for 2026–27 without changes.
HR presented the program, which gives employees two pathways—complete an annual physical or complete a tobacco‑use certification—to avoid a $25 monthly surcharge. Rameshia Bridal told commissioners the program has steady participation and recommended renewing it as is. Commissioners and HR staff said the program had increased completion of preventive care among employees.
Commissioner Toole moved to approve the proposed incentive plan and the court voted unanimously to adopt it.
