Skokie SD 68 logs four FOIA requests, including parent inquiries about social work records

Superintendent Scott Grens reported that the district received four Freedom of Information Act requests during the period Nov. 14'Dec. 12, 2025, and that responses were provided on the dates below.
The reported requests were: (1) Nov. 3, 2025, Kristy Aggarwal requesting "For my son's social work records" (response sent Nov. 18, 2025); (2) Nov. 18, 2025, Kristy Aggarwal requesting "I would like to request whatever records are available to me under FOIA. In addition, my son met with a social worker weekly between the years of 2021'2023. Why would there be no record of this?" (response sent Dec. 5, 2025); (3) Nov. 18, 2025, Brian Gavilan requesting "Job descriptions for all non-certified support staff employed by Skokie School District 68" (response sent Nov. 25, 2025); (4) Dec. 1, 2025, Yani Warda requesting "All email communications sent to, from, or involving the email address mernakambar@gmail.com for the last three (3) months September 2025 - Present." (response sent Dec. 10, 2025).
The board was informed that the district responded to each request on the dates recorded in the minutes. The minutes do not include the content of the district's responses or whether any records were produced in full.
