The board accepted a final planned-unit-development (PUD) plat for Shorewood Town Center 2B on March 10, 2026. Economic Development Director Natalie Engel summarized the history: the board previously approved a preliminary plat for 139 units, of which 23 were in the floodplain until a pond was built and a letter of map revision with the Army Corps of Engineers moved the floodplain line; the developer Lennar completed required engineering and returned for final approval.
Trustees asked no substantive questions and the board approved the resolution to accept the final PUD plat by roll call. Engel said the final plat is "exactly as contemplated earlier, but just becoming more formal" following the floodplain change and infrastructure completion.
