During the meeting the superintendent summarized a list of public‑records requests the district has received and, in many cases, the dates responses were sent or remain pending.
Examples included a January 16 request for emails between district staff and Brown Mustafa and for records related to complaints about a Palestinian flag (response sent Jan. 26), a Jan. 17 request for records including committee membership and written complaints (responses sent Feb. 2), and a Feb. 4 request for district contracts and amendments from several vendors (response sent Feb. 9). The superintendent said some requests are still pending and that staff have been providing responsive records where appropriate.
The board did not vote on FOIA matters at the meeting but recorded the administrative log of recent requests and responses.
