Fernandina Beach honors seawall funding partners and retires battalion chief

Later the commission recognized Battalion Chief William (Bill) Vaughn with a proclamation honoring a career that began on 06/17/1996 and marking a retirement date of 07/01/2026. Chief Vaughn spoke briefly of his time with the department, credited colleagues and thanked the commission for the recognition.
