Committee reviews contracts authorization bill after staff missed attaching PSA

The City of Snoqualmie Parks and Public Works Committee reviewed agenda bill AB 26048 (formerly AB 26030), a resolution authorizing the mayor to execute contracts for previously appropriated capital projects, after staff discovered the professional services agreement (PSA) had not been attached to the earlier submittal. The Chair opened the discussion by reviewing the agenda bill and exhibit A, the list of projects covered by the authorization.

A staff member acknowledged the omission: "We failed to attach the contract. That was the problem," and apologized for the error, saying the contract itself contained no substantive changes from what had been presented previously. Committee members used the session to inspect the PSA, the exhibits and the list of projects. The Chair said the item would be returned to council at the next council meeting after members had a chance to review the attached contract in full.
