The Burke Town Board on March 11 adopted RESOLUTION #7-2025 acknowledging the garage staff for response efforts during a severe February storm. The resolution, moved by Tim Crippen and seconded by Eric Ashlaw, recognized extra time and effort by crew members who worked amid staff shortages and equipment failures.
Separately under old business the board reviewed ARPA-funded projects: only one bid had been received for garage repairs and the board directed staff to solicit two additional bids before proceeding. The board approved using ARPA funds to replace a tax-collector computer and to modify Sellars Field fence for safety, but voted not to purchase filing cabinets with ARPA monies at this time.
