The Nobles County Board voted to approve the 2027 Budget Calendar and timelines to guide departmental budget submissions for next year. The motion to approve the calendar was moved by Commissioner Robert S. Demuth and seconded by Commissioner Chris Dybevick; the minutes record the motion "was duly passed."
Administration said the calendar is color-coded and patterned to assist communication and role identification and that departments and department heads would be offered the calendar this week to allow for budget input. The board adopted the calendar "with subject to change at any time," and no substantive amendments were recorded in the meeting minutes.
