Common School working group reports new interest; committee greenlights next steps including septic testing

"They are 100% behind using the first floor for after school programs," Julie Wolcott said of the Community Center's support.
The committee emphasized next steps: contract septic test pits to establish use capacity, continue the community survey, research rental management options, pursue funding opportunities and consider phased restoration to spread costs. The board approved accepting the low estimate for soil analysis from a firm with engineering qualifications to ensure any early work can be used in future design.
