Commissioners proposed immediate steps: split vendor outreach email lists among commission volunteers, use yard signs and social media to publicize registration, and tap local events (Marigold Festival, Farmers Market) to attract vendors. The commission also flagged budget timing: planning and firm vendor counts must be finalized before the October budget submission cycle.
Because the commission did not have a quorum for some votes, organizers agreed to form task-group meetings (public, not full commission meetings) to tighten logistics but emphasized that formal approvals requiring a vote will wait until the next full meeting.
