Mobility innovation summit set for March 26 at Monroe Pearson Building

Dr. Carrie Coleman told the board the Denton mobility innovation summit will take place March 26 at the Monroe Pearson Building and is intended to build a locally focused innovation ecosystem that brings together academics, government, entrepreneurs and venture capital.
"It's coming up on March 26. It's going to be at the Monroe Pearson Building," Coleman said, and outlined a program that will include a mayoral opening, a keynote speaker, several panels (including urban freight mobility and aerospace workforce) and an evening reception and pitch session to highlight entrepreneurs.
Coleman said the event is supported in part by a National Science Foundation grant and that the summit is being organized with partners including the University of Texas at Arlington, Dallas College, Southeastern Oklahoma State, SMU and UNT. She asked board members to circulate a 'save the date' and noted registration details will be distributed to the board.
