Wallace moved to open the item and Councilmember Christy Hirshberg seconded; Dr. Jim Johnson presented repeated slides titled "MIXED USE ZONING FOR BUSINESS PROPERTY."
During the presentation Dr. Jim Johnson displayed the slide text "MIXED USE ZONING FOR BUSINESS PROPERTY" and walked Council through the concept of allowing residential uses alongside commercial uses on business-zoned parcels. Councilmembers reviewed the slide material but did not adopt any ordinance language or take a formal vote on changing zoning regulations at the session.
