The items included Ordinance 2026-01 to repeal a fee for criminal background checks before transfer of a firearm (to align with A.R.S. 13-3108(A)); Ordinance 2026-02 to amend exceptions allowing minors to possess firearms (A.R.S. 13-3108(G)(2)(d)); Ordinance 2026-03 to remove the prohibition on firearms-related home-based businesses; and Ordinance 2026-04 to update the animal-control chapters (licenses, vaccinations, impounding) and remove references to a town animal shelter the town no longer operates. The minutes record that Mayor Wallace read each ordinance for the first time; no final votes or ordinance adoptions appear in the minutes.
