Town Clerk says new tax-billing feature will show prepayment credits; town now approved to sell hunting and fishing licenses

Town Clerk Demetrius Bolduc reported to the Selectboard that he attended a NEMRC seminar on tax billing and that the software has an automated feature to show credits for residents who prepay taxes.
"There is a new feature that will show credits for people who pay ahead," Bolduc said. He told the board this will remove a manual step from billing. Bolduc also said the Town Clerk is now approved to sell hunting and fishing licenses and that he is looking into adding DMV services because "many folks have trouble with the online services," according to the minutes. The board heard the update as part of routine clerk reports.
