City of Chattahoochee Hills staff presented the second public hearing on the calendar-year 2025 millage rate during a special-called meeting on Aug. 21. Robbie, speaking for city staff, told the council the recommendation is "to set it at the current 8.2" mills after a calculation that produced 8.21, which staff described as effectively a small rollback to 8.2.
The staff presentation noted the millage rate would apply to residents in both Fulton and Coweta counties. There were no public comment cards submitted; council members closed the hearing and staff said adoption would be considered at a third public hearing and vote scheduled for 5:00 PM the same day. The hearing focused on the single financial figure—the recommended millage—and did not include additional public testimony.
