Planning staff had recommended denial because proposed lots would lack compliant public-street frontage and another proposed lot failed the minimum width requirement.
Applicant Kelly Gervais told the board she does not plan to build on the additional lot and would remain in the two existing homes until the street is opened; neighbors Jack and Janelle Pizzolata said a preexisting letter requires their approval for any resubdivision because their driveway currently serves as the access. The Pizzolatas said they pursued legal counsel and have unresolved questions about rights and privileges for Marie Keith Lane. A commissioner suggested postponing the request so the parties could meet and produce a documented agreement; the board voted to postpone the item until the next planning commission meeting (currently scheduled for Sept. 3).
