Council approves noise exception and wastewater easement amid split votes on neighborhood impacts

One council member said mitigation details for environmental impacts had not been provided and withheld support; the motion passed 5–1.
Councilors who opposed either item said they were sympathetic to project needs but wanted clearer mitigation plans and neighborhood notice. Staff will proceed to record the easement and proceed with permitting and mitigation plans as required.
