Trustees discussed event timing and logistics — the event starts about 6 a.m. and finishes in midafternoon, and organizers said they will invite the public to the weigh‑in and supply goodie bags. Trustee J.W. Coleman said the request fit the village's tourism parameters and moved to approve the grant; the motion passed on a unanimous roll call among those present.
