DPW Director Mark Martin provided a run‑down of water‑system activity at the April 6 meeting, reporting 41 water main breaks since Jan. 1, 2026, and noting that 23 of those were connected to the lead service‑line replacement program.
Martin also reported a list of maintenance and repairs carried out year‑to‑date, including one valve termination, one b‑box replacement, one sanitary sewer repair, one fire hydrant replacement, three sanitary jet hydro‑vac operations, one tree removal, one service line thaw and four concrete repairs. Separately, he told trustees that 226 lead service lines have been replaced to date as part of the village program.
The information was provided as a department report; no separate board action was recorded on those operational items during the meeting.
