Superintendent Erfourth reported that northern Michigan superintendents are coordinating a joint message to legislators because a state budget has not been approved; district leaders said they are operating under a "worst case scenario" while monitoring cash flow. Director of Finance Danielle Banasiak confirmed audit preparations and mid‑September federal and state filings. Catina Crossman reported enrollment at 1,146 and provided a website rollout timeline; sinking‑fund bids for several projects are due Sept. 23 with recommendations expected at the October meeting.
