Spring Grove board adopts FY2027 budget ordinance and approves consent agenda including 2026 road program award
Summary
On April 7 the Village Board approved the Annual Municipal Budget ordinance for fiscal year ending 2027 and a series of consent items, including awarding the 2026 road program to Payne & Dolan and several resolutions related to IDOT and highway maintenance.
The Village Board approved the consent agenda on a single roll call vote after removing Item I (the RBBA Field Use Agreement) for further staff review. The consent package included adoption of an ordinance approving the Annual Municipal Budget for FYE 2027 and a resolution authorizing construction and maintenance within IDOT’s right-of-way.
The consent agenda also included approval of an invoice for a clarifier rebuild, amendments to the athletic field rental form, a fee waiver for a St. Vincent dePaul charity walk at Hatchery Park, a resolution in support of the Municipal Housing Authority, and awarding the 2026 road program to Payne & Dolan. The roll call vote on the amended consent agenda was 6 ayes, 0 nays.
