Spring Grove engineer: ComEd meeting, April 13 lid opening for downtown project

Village Engineer Steve BicJsing told the board that ComEd has scheduled a team meeting to discuss relocation of overhead wires needed for the downtown project. He said the lid opening for the downtown project is set for Monday, April 13 at 11 a.m., and that a pre-construction meeting will be scheduled shortly afterward.
BicJsing also reported that road grindings from the 2026 road program will be placed at Thelen Park as part of material management for the program. The engineer said he would address safety concerns raised by the police chief about sidewalks at the July 4 parade during the upcoming pre-construction meeting.
