The Bossier Parish Police Jury unanimously approved a zoning change and a minor plat for property associated with applicant Dana F. Cherry in Police Jury District 3.
Jurors adopted Ordinance No. 5121 to rezone a 1.110-acre tract from B-1 (Transition Business) to R-1 (One-Family Residence) for construction of a single-family home. Assistant Parish Engineer Matt Redmon presented the minor-plat application, noting Lot 1 meets parish requirements and the existing driveway fronts Kingston Road; he recommended approval of the minor plat to subdivide the property for the residence.
The jury voted unanimously to adopt the ordinance and to approve the Cherry Subdivision minor plat (Benton MPC Cases BP-5-26 and BP-13-26). The actions are recorded in the minutes and the ordinance text describes the legal property description approved by the jury.
