HRB readies June 11 speaker series: volunteers, equipment, and future dates discussed

At its June 4 meeting the Historic Resources Board reviewed duties and supplies for the June 11 speaker series session. Assignments include Bob Wren as greeter and Terry LaValley to introduce the speaker; the board listed needed items such as coffee, cups, cookies, a projector and PA (noted as HFL), and printed handouts for the June 13 event.
Lynette Foulger said she has contacted a potential September speaker and expects a final answer by June 11. She also reported 37 attendees at the May "Music of America" concert and said she will share photos with the board. Members discussed themes for November (holiday parties and union/fraternal organization histories) and considered offering time for audience members to share holiday stories.
The board planned a setup start time of 11:00 AM on the day of the speaker event and confirmed volunteers for food and decoration tasks.
