Bob Wren said there would be lower turnout for an afternoon event and "suggested no specialty drinks," a suggestion the board accepted. The board approved a community advertisement after correcting the venue name from "Elks Club" to "Elks Lodge," with Terry LaValley moving to accept the community ad and Lynette Foulger seconding; the motion passed 4-0. Carlye Hansen offered to be available for setup beginning at 10:00 AM.
Board members assigned specific setup and food tasks: Tammy to order trays and food from Albertsons, Rose and Lynette to arrange decorations, and Rose to bring glass trays and a tablecloth for the reception. A walkthrough with Elks representative Carlye Hansen was scheduled for Wednesday before the event to review setup details.
The board also discussed postcards and event photography; postcard authorization remains contingent on a photo being taken in time for printing.
