Chair Kevin Hart summarized the largest invoices, saying, “There are a total of five claims that make up 71% of what the claims are,” and listing roughly $125,000 for Flying S Escrow (railroad building), about $174,000 for Galle Plumbing for blower replacements at the wastewater treatment plant, $27,400 for Pine Cove Consulting to install cameras, and $11,800 for Trihydro for street repairs. The motion to authorize payment was made by Commissioner Steve Gates and seconded by Commissioner Mike Beausoleil; the vote was 5-0.
The approved claims package includes items county staff described as capital or repair work and routine vendor invoices. Commissioners did not receive public comment before taking the vote. The commission did not identify any follow-up actions tied to these specific claims during the meeting.
