"If you can keep the existing window, slide it over and gang another one, then you preserve both original windows," Commissioner Ray Goddard said during deliberations. Commissioners directed staff to work with the applicant and preservation planner to confirm repair options and to document the window condition; the motion approved the ganged arrangement contingent on reusing an original sash and on submitting the specialist documentation required by HDC guidelines.
