The Stark County Community Unit School District #100 Board of Education approved a series of routine fiscal and personnel measures during its March 23, 2026, meeting in Toulon.
The board approved the consent calendar (motion by Dane Richards, second by Bruce West) and accepted LEA checks that included district disbursements of $169,873.17 and $188,239.56. Members then voted, on a motion by Bruce West and a second from Chelsea Streitmatter, to approve March bills totaling $280,262.93. All votes recorded in the minutes were 5-0.
The Board also approved final revisions to the 2026–27 Junior–Senior High grading procedures (motion by Bruce West, second by Dane Richards) and renewed the district's annual IHSA participation contract for 2026'27 (motion by Ann Orwig, second by Bruce West), both passed 5-0. President Ann Orwig moved to adopt a Resolution to Non-Renew teacher Daymon McDowell at the end of the 2025'26 school year; the motion, seconded by Bruce West, passed 5-0.
In executive session the board approved overload pay for Megan Lane for one additional class period (effective March 2, 2026), accepted resignations from Shannon Westphal and Elizabeth Dietz effective at the end of the 2025'26 school year, and approved proposed FY27 support and administrative pay rate increases. Those personnel motions were recorded as passing by the same 5-0 tally.
