Santee Council Adopts FY2025‑26 Operating Budget and Related Resolutions

Finance Director Heather Jennings presented a PowerPoint explaining the budget and answered council questions prior to the vote; Vice Mayor Rob McNelis moved approval and Councilmember Dustin Trotter seconded.
The motion carried with Ayes: 4; Noes: 0; Absent: 1. The adopted budget and appropriations limit adoption will guide city spending for the coming fiscal year; the minutes record adoption of the appropriations limit separately as Reso 084-2025 under Consent Calendar.
