Windham-Ashland-Jewett board approves consent agenda, clears $958,324 in bills and grants

The district recorded General Fund checks Ck#53954–Ck#54007 and Ck#25-80–Ck#25-82 totaling $897,260.10; Federal Fund checks Ck#2523–Ck#2524 totaling $16,803.97; School Lunch Fund Ck#373 totaling $19,835.60; and Capital Fund checks Ck#10095–Ck#10097 totaling $24,424.33. The board also accepted a $50,000 Bullet Aid grant to support general expenses and a $3,500 donation from Hope Restoration Christian Fellowship Church for student use.
On a motion by Board member Melissa Maldonado, seconded by Loni Koument-Holdridge, the Consent Agenda (Items 1(i) through 2b(viii)) was approved unanimously. Yes votes were recorded for Jean Jaeger, Loni Koument-Holdridge, Melissa Maldonado, Drew Shuster and Heidi Schwarz; no members were absent.
The approvals were made "upon the recommendation of the Superintendent and the Audit Finance Committee," per the meeting minutes, and included standard items such as the November 13, 2024 minutes and the Treasurer’s Report for November 2024.
