The Windham-Ashland-Jewett Central School District Board of Education approved its consent agenda at the Oct. 9 regular meeting, adopting routine minutes and financial items recommended by the Superintendent and the Audit Finance Committee. Board President Drew Shuster called the meeting to order at 5:02 p.m.; on a motion by Board member Melissa Maldonado and second by Board member Loni Koument-Holdridge the consent agenda items 1(i) through 2b(viii) were approved.
The consent package included approval of the Sept. 11, 2024 minutes and the Treasurer’s Report for September 2024. The board approved Superintendent transfers for October 2024 and a bill schedule with the following totals: General Fund checks #53781–#53858 totaling $470,846.57; Federal Fund checks #2520–#2521 totaling $4,293.48; School Lunch Fund checks #370–#371 totaling $20,338.82; and Capital Project checks #10083–#10090 totaling $486,184.24. Voting yes were Melissa Maldonado, Drew Shuster and Loni Koument-Holdridge; Jean Jaeger and Heidi Schwarz were recorded as absent.
