The Cromwell‑Wright Public Schools Board unanimously approved the district's FY27 proposed budget and authorized a 10‑year Long‑Term Facilities Maintenance (LTFM) plan during its June 17 meeting. Business Manager Kristi Borglund presented the budget and LTFM plan for the coming year.
"Kristi Borglund presented the budget for the year along with the LTFM Plan for the year," the board record states. The FY27 budget motion passed on a voice vote; the FY28 10‑Year LTFM Plan was approved by roll call with four yea votes and two members absent (Faith Nyberg and Alisha Soderbloom). The roll call shows Brian Granholm, Timothy Homstad, Tristan Johnson and Shayne Korpela voting yea.
Board members said the plans will guide maintenance priorities and capital spending over the coming decade. No dollar total for the adopted FY27 budget was provided in the meeting minutes; the record lists approval without specifying the budget amount.
The board also scheduled further policy review and administrative steps to finalize handbook wording and to implement the LTFM plan steps in the coming months.
