After discussing inconsistent turnout and recent experiences with hired artists, commissioners weighed options for staffing and whether the cart's appearance (wrap, flags) is worth the operational cost. Chair concluded that because the commissioned vendor will be present and space is limited, the art cart will not be brought out this year. Jordan Layman was asked to inform Public Works not to transport the cart and to follow up with volunteer and emcee logistics for festival duties. Commissioners asked that staff coordinate volunteer sign-ups and confirm vendor hours.
