BEXLEY CITY — At its Aug. 5 meeting the Bexley Board of Education approved several consent-agenda bundles and handbook items without separate discussion.
The chair asked for a motion to approve items 4b through 4e; the motion passed on unanimous voice vote and the chair declared the motion carried. Later in the meeting the board approved items 5a through 5gs and then approved handbook items 6a through 6c (second read) after board members indicated no items needed to be pulled for further discussion.
No roll-call tallies were read into the record for these approvals; each passed via the board's standard voice-vote procedure. The chair indicated the board would not take action following the executive session later in the evening.
