Superintendent Holmberg and Executive Director Chaffey reviewed a packet of long-range plan and referendum documents at the May 4 work session, flagging agreements and contract forms the board will need to consider if it moves forward with a bond question. The packet the board received includes Nexus Agreements, a Project Development Agreement (PDA), multiple AIA professional-services contract forms, and an election resolution relating to a potential new referendum revenue authorization and issuance of a general obligation bond.
Holmberg and Chaffey told the board these materials are included in the board packet for study ahead of the May 18 meeting when the board will see items for formal action. The presentation included an overview of operating-refendum concepts and tax-impact estimates intended to help trustees weigh costs and timing before any call for a special election.
