The board approved a student-council overnight field trip to Lake Placid, New York, to attend the NYSCLSA conference from Nov. 24–26, 2024. The motion was made and carried by voice vote.
Student representative Daniel Shunk reported on fall student activities, including a "Just Say Hello" group that welcomed students and staff on the first day of school, an open-house reception attended by about 150 students and adults, middle-school student-council elections, homecoming week events including a bonfire and pep rally, and a homecoming dance.
