The district's business official reported that school tax bills were due yesterday and the district had collected about 81% of bills as of the report; payments after the deadline will incur interest and penalties. The official said last year the comparable collection rate was 88%.
The business official also reported the district received its Q3 2024 sales-tax disbursement from Erie County, which was down 0.75% from Q3 2023. Officials said they will monitor sales-tax receipts while preparing the 2025–26 budget to ensure revenue assumptions align with actual receipts.
