Actions approved included the permanent appointment of bus driver Dwight Seymour after a successful probationary period, effective Nov. 20, 2024. The board approved probationary teacher-aide appointments for Britney Bake (10/09/2024–04/08/2025), Patty Bechstein (10/21/2024–04/20/2025), and Kelly Gavin (10/17/2024–04/16/2025). Salaries for the teacher aides were described as based on the CSEA contract, level 4, step 1. Rebecca Cruz, currently a bus subattendant, was appointed on probation as a bus attendant effective 10/17/2024 through 04/16/2025.
All motions were made on the superintendent's recommendation and carried by voice vote. The board also approved a reduction in hours for bus driver Paul Winter from 5.75 to 2.5 per day.
