Board approves summer facilities projects; hail damage reported and insurance claim underway

Superintendent Brett Elliott presented the district's 2026 Summer Project List, developed by Maintenance Director Bob Bohm and the administrative team, and the board voted to approve the list by a 5–0 vote.
Elliott also reported significant hail damage to district vehicles and buildings from a recent storm and said staff is working with the district's insurance carrier to file a claim. He told the board he did not expect hail repairs to alter the Summer Project List because materials and labor for hail repairs should be covered by insurance. The approval of the project list was motioned by Joseph Rediger and seconded by Dane Richards.
