Board approves three-year lease for 170 Chromebooks at $69,004

Superintendent Brett Elliott told the board this year’s quantity is slightly smaller than past cycles and described a junior-high pilot in which devices remain in classrooms and are sent home only when needed rather than being taken home daily. Mr. Richards moved to approve the lease; Mrs. Leezer seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The district’s decision is part of its standard multi-year refresh cycle for student devices. The board packet reflected financing through the State Bank of Toulon and a three-year term; the motion authorizes district staff to finalize the lease.
