The board packet and memo from Jason Schapmann, Director of Human Resources and Fiscal Support, list certified staff who submitted TERIP applications by the Jan. 9, 2026 deadline and note that each accepted applicant will be considered as submitting their resignation effective at the end of the 2025-26 school year.
The memo to the board defined the retiree payment schedule (an annual payment equivalent to single retiree health/dental insurance), projected as $12,858 for 2026-27, then increasing by 7% in subsequent years. Schapmann’s memo identified applicants by name and years of service, including Teresa Hausmann (25 years), Laura Magg (35 years), Paula Lawrence (27 years), Eric Edzards (18 years), Kerri Jones (13 years), Angela Leifeld (17 years) and others listed in the TERIP packet. The memo stated applicants must waive cash payment for unused sick days to accept the TERIP schedule of annual health benefit payments.
Board members recorded their approval on the Jan. 12 consent action. The TERIP motion and applicant list are incorporated in the board minutes and HR packet for follow-up processing of retiree elections and benefit payments.
