Contractor begins cleanup on NWRA 33; engineer finds oak tree on private property

The Board recorded that Environmental Solutions Florida, Inc. executed a contract for cleanup at NWRA 33 by Rolling Hills Loop and that vegetation removal is underway.
Chair Kathleen Lonergan raised a report of a dead tree behind 18906 Rolling Hills Loop. District Engineer Kurt Heath’s initial inspection concluded "the partially dead oak tree is actually on another resident’s property behind 11906 Heritage Pointe Drive, and not near any CDD-owned easements." Heath said he will inspect the area again to confirm the location and coordinate any necessary follow-up. The Board discussed the condition of trees in the dry retention area and asked staff to document the site with photographs.
